This January’s Picklewater Clown Cabaret will feature the international award winning Pi the Physical Comedy Troupe,
who have been entertaining international audiences
for over 7 years, alongside a broad spectrum Special Guests including
a bevy of local
and international professional circus artists, comedians, and Clown
Conservatory Alumni.
With a cast of clowns and acrobats from all across the bay area and
around the world, the Picklewater Clown Cabaret filled with brand new material from some of the bay areas favorite
physical comedians.

About the Prescott Circus

Each year, over 170 children work with professional artists to develop physical circus skills such as juggling, acrobatics, improvisation, balancing, unicycling, stilting, hip hop dance, hambone body percussion, and clowning. An emphasis on cultural connections within the program’s curriculum and structure is valued and included. Students also learn about performance art, including creative expression, stage presence, production, and theatre vocabulary.

Training programs are offered free of charge and almost exclusively to low income children. This program is supported by grants, donations, and performance fees. The Oakland Unified School District provides in-kind support.

Van Dykes, Palmade, Barber Shops and Mustache Rides will be presented by the handsomely groomed circus artists of The Picklewater Clown Cabaret of Fine Mustaches, November 7th at 7 and 9 pm at the brand new Stage Werx

the terrifyingly lovely clowns and circus artists of The Picklewater
Clown Cabaret of the Dead, October 3rd at 7 and

The production is conceived by producer and co-director Abraham Dover,
who has directed or produced for the Picklewater Clown Cabaret, San
Francisco Circus Center’s Pratfalls and Rising Stars, and Showcase and
Killing My Lobster, in recent months, and co-directed by our special
acclaimed award winning clown director.
